Riding a Bike to Work

Today, I decided to take my first step towards losing weight and saving gas, I rode my used bike to work. I've never had a chance to ride a bike to work, but today I did so. At times it was uncomfortable, and often times I felt like my bike seat would simply fall off because I didn't tighten it enough. And maybe the other difficult part was when I got close to my job and I had to ride up a hill. But I left my apartment at 7:05am and by the time I got to my desk it was 7:40am, so I know I made good time. My goal is to be consistent and make sure that I maintain the habit during the work week. I do not want to drive to work anymore, even when it rains I don't want to drive to work if I can avoid it. I want to utilize every resource I have to save money and lose weight. So this is very much so going to be part of the changes I make in my personal life.
