Bike Chain Scrubbing gone wrong...

I tried and was sort of successful at the task of scrubbing my bicycle chain. I had never done it before, so mistakes were bound to happen. I was using the ParkTool Cyclone Chain, which I had bought over the weekend, and I did follow the directions... I was 100% certain of that. However, a few times the chain slid off the bike crank and it became difficult trying to figure out how to get it back on. And after successfully getting it back on, I thought it was over and done with. But now the gears are all messed up, and Vic's Bike Shop is closed on Tuesday's. So either way, I'll be riding my bike tomorrow to work, and hopefully nothing seriously bad happens.

However, this is a good experience for me at learning how to use that which I own and operate on mostly during the week. I know, I bought the bike in July 2014, so I should've known how to fix it or even do some simple maintenance on it. But I'm grateful for the lesson, it just showed me that I have to be willing to learn and be taught more.

Tomorrow, I'm going to ask Vic's to get some new pointers on how to properly maintain my bike, and also learn on my own how to repair and maintain it.
