15 Minutes (Bass Guitar Practicing)

I honestly don't know when the last time I really practiced my Bass Guitar. Hell, it might as well had been 6 to 24 months since I honestly practiced it. Right now, I'm going to start off with a simple 4 week plan... so I can move easily back into playing again. And I'm going to establish a practice plan and a set of Goals so that I know the direction that I'm moving in.

But for the rest of the week, I'm going to stick with dexterity training because my hand was getting sore after just 10 minutes of moving it up and down my fretboard. Just like with getting back into Weight Lifting, I have to be realistic and let my body ease into it. But I'm going to work at it daily and just give it my best. But the point is to make it a habit and that will take at least 30 days to a month to do. It'll be just like my early days in High School when I was excited about practicing my Bass Guitar after school.

Potential Daily Goals:

  1. Reading
  2. Walking bass lines
  3. Scales and modes
  4. Speed and articulation
