I'm happy, I smile everyday, and I laugh everyday... but when people ask me if I'm happily married, I can't always answer it.
The reason I can't answer the question is because I'm still in the early stages of being married. Usually I find that people will always ask married couples that question no matter what stage of the marriage they are in.
Also, being happy in your marriage doesn't always mean you're happily married... I think being happy has to be within ones self and their relationship. And you have to be happy with yourself before you can really be happy in your marriage.
I'm continuously working on myself to maintain a level of happiness and self-awareness in my personal life and within my marriage. But more then anything, I'm constantly working on ways to add new adventures and challenges to the relationship itself. And yes, I'm still working on myself to add new victories to my year, because 2012 has had a lot of ups and downs... yet I'm reminded that a lot of the downs is because of my procrastination, lack of motivation, and sometimes pure laziness.
But I refuse to give up hope... and I refuse to lay down and be defeated.
