The Student Loan (pt.2)
I'm sure Loan Companies are make billions off borrowers (students). They really aren't very negotiable or even flexible the way I'd expect or want them to be. I was able to lower my monthly payments down, however, I still have to pay the initial payment of $500 on the 17th of January. I'm not depressed about having to do that, I'm MAD AS HELL that I have to pay them the $500. And that the only way they will lower my monthly payment is to pay the initial payment. I know school is expensive and that if we want to be successful in the careers we want to someday be happy in we have to pay for a successful education. Yet, I still don't think having to pay high tuition for an education should be the way to go... like I understand paying back your education is just part of the process and I don't like running away from a challenge. But it shouldn't be difficult to do so, I mean... it almost feels like I'm paying for a car or something. So with this new found knowledge of my financial loan situation, I have to force myself to take on another job until I can get established more in music and voice acting. Because it almost feels like I'm being pushed into a weird form of slavery or prison. I mean, that is sort of what debt is... its a financial prison or something.
