This week has been totally awesome musically, I feel totally revitalized when it comes to playing the Bass Guitar. And I know I'm putting in a lot of work because my finger pads are coming back which is a clear sign that I haven't played my bass for a long period of time. As I was waking up this morning, I started to wonder why in the past I was somewhat inconsistent when it came to my music aspirations, and its simple... I didn't look at it as a lifestyle or way to make a living. Now, I want to look at music as a means of paying the bills which I know will allow me to stay focused on the bigger picture which is... I don't Play for Free (meaning I want to , while at the same time learning to be more creative on the bass.
Next week, I'll get to start singing background and playing at the same time which I've always wanted to try. So I'm going to learn to do that and enjoy the journey at the same time. And I think I'll talk to someone about taking some Piano Lessons and Music Theory in the coming months.
It's just important to keep learning, growing, and trying to expand my level of understanding and creativity.
