Listening to the Bass (pt. 2)

Yesterday was an awesome success playing the bass, it felt good... and I played it with minimal mistakes. And I say minimal because often times when I play I have a tendency of playing outside of the pocket (i.e. playing excessive notes that don't flow with the song). And even though I lost focus a few times, they weren't enough to disrupt the harmony of the music. And, I was able to literally practice on Saturday & Sunday which helped a lot, now I just have to make sure I practice every single day this week... even if its just for 30 minutes. Making time for practicing is crucial to my development.
