Lately, I've been pondering a question... the question is simply this... if people spent more time doing "new things" and applying those new things to their lives would life be more enjoyable and exciting for them?
New can also mean doing things you love to do, and not being restricted by your own fears, finances, or personal responsibilities. I simply want to ask the question of "new" and seek out new adventures in my life. And I don't want to seek out "new" because I'm bored, but because I truly feel we should spend our time doing things that we'd prefer to be doing if we weren't doing something we disliked; this can apply to our careers, families, economic situations, or lifestyle. I'm not saying, I'm bored with life... however... I am saying I'm getting a bit fed up with the negativity that I subject myself to in order to make a living.
Yesterday, I pondered the idea of doing "new routines"... not because I'm unable to do new things, but simply because I believe I should be able to challenge myself without feeling as though I have to subject myself to the bullshit of this world.
Not sure exactly how to move forward, but as soon as I get home... I'm going to start moving towards creating a New Mission Statement, because the old mission statement I have just isn't going to cut it.
