164 days

Well, today I have begun the process of moving my personal items and stuff into my new apartment. Hopefully it will be my home for a few more years since I'm not a big fan of moving, and I'm also hoping it will provide some stability in my life since I've been stretched to the max since 2007. Of course, things have to improve because life can't continue to go downwards forever.

Yesterday, I went to see the immigration lawyers and I was a bit shocked to notice how there were errors on the documents that I'm supposed to be submitting for the visa package. Their were errors on my documentation and errors on my fiancee's documentation, and now I hear that they will require her signature on the documents and she will have to mail them to me. So the longer it takes for my lawyers to get their heads out of their asses the sooner things can get moving. Although, I'm glad I have an eye for detail or some things would obviously fall through the cracks. Lisa is a bit bummed out because of the delay, I really don't like it when she gets bummed because its like I have to work harder to get her to smile again.

Long distance relationships are hard work, and I should know since I haven't seen my fiancee in over 164 days! That's a long time not to see someone that you're going to get married to, but I'm keeping myself busy and constantly working to fix things. But I feel my job will never be done when it comes to fixing things as long as things remain unstable.
