Crown Imperial by William Walton

I must say, that I've always been a great admirer of English, Canadian and American composition pieces. And the only reason I had heard this piece was because I was catching the end of the Royal Wedding this weekend. And I think I was overcome with emotions from the piece itself, not sure why, although I'm sure it had a lot to do with the fact that I got Straight A's in my classes, I just felt so proud.

Even now, I keep listening to the piece, and wishing it could be played at my Graduation. It's a very celebratory piece and I can't stop thinking about all the different emotions that I get whenever I listen to it. In fact, I'd love if my cell phone could play that song whenever I have to get up in the morning for work. Either way, it has now become one of my favorite pieces to listen to. Honestly, I'd love to hear this piece live one day... but until then... I'll have to get use to listening to it on youtube.
